Plagiarism - its dangers

Plagiarism is defined by the 1995 Random House Compact Unabridged Dictionary as the use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. In other words, plagiarism = BAD!

I remeber that, while being a highschool student, teachers were always telling us not to commit plagiarism, for they would not allow it. They would give us an immediate zero in our assignments and suspend us if they ever found out that atrocity. I new since then, that it was a very serious business. But, thanks to our teahcers, we were able to avoid plagiarism because the taught us all that we needed to know about it and how to do correct citations and bibliography.

Now that I'm in college, I'm still aware of the serious matter of plagiarism and that no teahcer will allow it. That's why I must be carefull not to plagiarize and always do the proper citations and bibliography.

First blog

Hello everybody! I'm a Jehovah's Witness and I've been one since the year 2002. It's been a long way since then and I'm still doing my best to keep myself in God's love. From what I remeber I've always been attending the Jehovayh's Witnesses meetings. I remember that when I was still a kid, I got bored while at the meetings because I couldn't understand and that's why I didn't like to go. Now that I understand why I go and what happens during the meetings, I've come to appreciate the effort that so many goodhearted brothers put to teach us so many excellent things about Jehovah God.
